to construct in November 1968 according to (68) TM No.3392
file of military control institution in Textile Industry

in Textile Industry Dept. applied to State Planning Commission
by (68) TP No.3197 file for constructing a textile machinery
factory producing synthetic fiber ladder sets 10,000 dun
per year. |

State Planning Commission permitted to
found Shaoyang No.2 Textile Machinery Factory with a 13,000
dun whole set by (68) PC No. 311 file, in August 1968. |

According to the reply of (69)RP No. 107
file, the Shaoyang Construct Preparation Section of No.2
Textile Machinery Factory was established on December
2nd, 1969, and so was the CCP leader group there. |

It is the August 1969 when the construction
started, and finished before the National Day in 1971.
The factory covers 610,000 m2, with a 370,000 floor area
including 170,000 m2 production floor area. |

Shaoyang No.2 Textile Machinery Factory
was affirmed to be state backbone firm by (85) TM No.62
file of Textile Industry Department, and the exploiture
base of state acrylic and polyester technics and finishing
sets after printing and dyeing, directly under China Textile
Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. |
